God in his infinite wisdom saw fit to call his child Marvin Curtis Terrell I, 50, of the 1400 block of Quiet Court, home Oct. 1, 2009. Marvin was the fourth of five children born April 27, 1959, in Chicago to the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie and Sadie Terrell. Marvin leaves to honor and cherish his memory his lovely wife, Lynette G. Terrell; devoted children, Lynette M. Terrell-Lucas (Quincy), Marvin C. Terrell II, and Michael C. Terrell, all of Portsmouth; cherished granddaughter, Gabrielle Lucas of Portsmouth; sisters, Angela Fenwick (Marshall) of Saint Mary's County, Maryland and Vinnie Terrell of Chesapeake; and brother, Bryan Terrell (Joanna) of Portsmouth. He will also be missed by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gideon T. and Emma Lee Goodwyn; three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and friends and by all others who knew him. Viewing will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 2 until 8 p.m. at J.T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N. George Washington Highway, Chesapeake. The family will be present from 6 until 8 p.m. A life celebration service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at Fellowship United Church of Christ, 1402 Gust Lane, Chesapeake, where the pastor is Rev.
